Busy busy week

Saturday, November 28, 2009 KOALA
Well, its been a busy week as usual. 5 days of work, and comming home every night to work on my Maya project.
So far, its around 80% complete, and im handing it in this way because im too lazy, and seriously cant be bothered trying to spend so much effort in fixing up those minor errors.
Heres whats been done so far.

As usual, thats just a playblast version, so its just a preview.
The final render would look more like this

From Misc
All this was made possible because i got a new mouse to work with.
Since my Logitech MX rev charging dock has been sent in for warranty, i was stuck with my very first mouse. A microsoft product....

From Misc
to be honest, i've never been a fan of this mouse ever since i first got it. Further more, its a ball mouse.

From Misc
Which means its impossible to use on the icemat, because the ball keeps slipping.
Hence i got this as a temporary replacement. The MS Sidewinder

From Misc
Still made by microsoft, but much higher quality and more tech thrown in.

From Misc
Even comes with weights and 3 sets of different feet for differnt surfaces!
And its also very ugly.....
no where near as elegant as the mx revolution or even the vx revolution

From Misc
But none the less, it still does the job, and thats whats most important i guess.
I've finished building the gaplant already but havent done a review yet, so i guess i'll break it up into a few posts.
Runner review for now
A & Bx2 runners. Basically recoloured standard gaplant runner.

From Gunpla
C & D runners. Again, same as normal gaplant. The fins on the C runners arent gonna be used in this kit, so 4 extra pieces of spare pla plate.

From Gunpla
E & F Again, nothing new. Extra mini stand which was supposed to be for the booster unit is still included.

From Gunpla
G , H & Polycaps Heres where things get interesting. Once again, bandai's superb moulding efficiency. 4 colours on one runner. So with the gaplant harairoo, you get not 1 but 2 multicoloured runner. and this kit also uses quite a few polycaps.

From Gunpla

Unfortunately thats more for now.

I would be overseas tomorrow, so wont be doing any gunpla reviews until i get back. Still have a Strike Freedom and Hi-Nu to review.
But meanwhile, you can wait for ToFu to post up his pics of his new kits, including 2 HGUC Kshatyras!!!

Next post will be made in HK
And in advance, i would wish all our readers a Merry Chirstmas and Happy New Year!
