A bite back at Gumshara

Gumshara. Most of you (with the exception of Talib, who's missing out on alot of great food), would have eaten atleast once or twice at Gumshara before. The shabby ramen store in the Eating World Food Court  Haymarket, which used to serve some of the best ramen in Sydney.
From General
Unfortunately, things have start to change. In our last few visits, the standards seems to have dropped quite a bit.
Firstly, the serving size has shrunk quite abit. At first, we all thought that we were just imagining things, and that our bodies may have already evoloved to cope with things over 9000. However, things started to become obvious when we had to order extra ramen to go with the standard serving, in order to satisfy our hunger.
Secondly, and more importantly, is the soup. Initially, you could only have the soup in one way, and that was THICK. Ofcourse, you could always ask the staff to water it down for you, and they'll stare at you as if you were a retard, because thats what you would have been if you asked for watered down soup.
Then they introduced the tomato base, which was an even deadly version of the original thick soup. However, over time, whether it was because too many retards were ordering watered down soup, or the bear scar man just got lazy, the standard thick soup had started to become a little watered down.
Even the tomato based tonkotsu was watery, even though we specifically ordered for it to be thick...VERY THICK.....
Third and finally, the egg.
The Egg has always been the shining star within a bowl of Gumshara ramen.
We've even gone to extremes, such as ordering 5 eggs for Sum at one point.
From our latest experience, the egg was far off from the usual standards.
Hard and Salty, are the two words which can be used to describe it.
It could almost be said to be like one of those Salted preserved eggs you find in Asian groceries. Or like the yokes you'd find in a moon cake (for those who ate moon cakes recently)

So how does this affect you??
Well, for the most of you who are reading this, it probably wont affect you much anyway, since you'd probably be glad that they shrunk the size, and watered down the soup to your liking.
However, for some of us who could be said to have Gumshara pumping through our veins, we really need to start looking at an alternative.
The "Energy Don" stand, next to Gumshara seems to offer a nice variety of don. However, it still wasnt as "heavenly" as what Gumshara used to be.

The moment I took a bite into the egg and having it feel as though I just swallowed a spoon of salt has left me a shattered person. Only recently with the discovery of Elly Tran Ha have I had my faith restored in the "greater being(s)" - two to be precise lawl - Gumshara has just shot me straight back down
