Migration Plans

In the past couple of weeks, we have been discussing whther or not we should try for other blog platforms which is more suitable for our needs

Hence, we have now started experimenting with http://4pakisdead.wordpress.com/

Luckily for us, wordpress and blogger allows for easy migration, so most of the blog content was moved quite easily.
However, it seems like Wordpress does not like Windows Skydrive, so files and images from there are not showing up.

As far as layout is concerned, wordpress doesnt offer much
Around 90 templates, and CSS scripting (too advanced for me)
Looking through all the templates, and testing each of them out, i stumbled across the one applied currently
What i found interesting was how it automatically resized images to fit into the main body.
Very clever indeed.
However, most of you would be running screen resos of higher than 1280, and would probably like to use up more of your screen when reading our blog.
So i guess it would still need some tweaking around before its perfect.

On the other hand, I find that the wordpress dashboard is somewhat better than the dashboard offered by blogger (but i guess thats a matter of personal preferences)

The decision to migrate is not final. Alot of testing still needs to be done, before we jump to any conclusions.
