Ok, been experimenting with adding songs to our blog
Hopefully you guys will be able to see the wmp bar on the left hand side. It usually takes a couple of seconds to load, depending on your net speed.
The current track is called "Namida no Tane, Egao no Hana" by Nakagawa Shoko.
It is the feature song for the new Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann movie.
We'd most likely be going through a new song every now and then, and as usual, we are open to suggestions.
Hope you guys enjoy XD

*Edit* Ok, maybe adding music wasnt such a good idea, since it slows down the page a lot
Looking for ways to work around it. Keep you guys updated

*Edit 2*
Well, put a midi up instead of a MP3 file. Much faster now.
Current song is a piano version of Shinkai no Kodoku
Insert song from Gundam Seed Destiny

*Edit 3*
Been doing some further testing
Browsers powered by the Trident engine, (ie6, ie7, ie8, maxthon 2, maxthon 3 alpha) seem to run perfectly fine and the swf banner loads correctly.
However, as i guessed that some people, like Cameron would complain that i make 4PAK reader friendly for other browsers. Hence, i have tested the new features across a variety of browsers.
To be honest, i still dont get firefox. Main reason is that its not a browser thats ready to use out of the box.
They dont even have the most simple things like Mouse Gestures included in the standard package.
To play the embedded midi file on our blog, you'd need to download a quicktime plugin, when trident based browsers by default uses wmp to play.
Maxthon 3 would be moving onto Beta stage soon, so looking forward to that. Firefox 4, which I also tested earlier today, was even worse than FF 3.6. At first, i was drawn in by the pretty prototype pictures of what it could potentially look like. Unfortunately, its still in its Alpha release atm, and is unskinnable.

Well Firefox is one of the only browsers to fully implement the W3C (x)html/css conventions, so if it doesn't display correctly in mozilla, then chances are it's coded badly (most likely from trial and error in the clunkiness of IE).

As for out-of-the-box packaging, i don't really see any real need for mouse gestures, even given the fact that I use the MX revolution. Software should give you the option of including *optional* extras (such as mouse gestures), instead of adding wasted space to both the download and the installation. It's a plugin world now, as far as software is concerned :P (customisation is in, providing you with 100000000 features stock standard is out)

The code i used for the swf file is only a couple of lines long. Very simple code, so i dont think it was coded badly.
If ie is clunky, what makes windows 7 so fast, when Explorer is based off ie.
I also have mx rev.
If you have mouse gestures, you can do everything you can do on a 11 button mouse, with just a 2 button mouse.
Firefox installation size is bigger than maxthon, so no space wasted.
Windows 7 comes with 100000000 of features as stock standard, so it must be a pretty out dated os.......
Firefox doesnt come with a fully customisable gui (can only skin) so its not that customisable. Cant move toolbars and buttons around to suit tastes.

There are barely any sites that actually follow the w3c standards anyway =/.
Would be cool if you could get the plugin to play upon load and have a couple of midis rotating (if that's even possible?). I don't think anyone's gonna bother clicking esp since it'll stop if you leave the page (eg to comment).
