I'm obsessed with Assassin's Creed. Played both 1 and 2 diligently until there was nothing left to do and after the painfully long wait the continuation of AC2 is finally out!
The game was tipped to release on the 18th November 2010 which is today but I got a call from EB games on Tuesday telling me to come pickup on Wednesday. Guess what happened lawl.
Fuck you EB
Moving on. I preordered the game a couple of months ago and went for the Limited Codex edition since it came with some nifty extras, and learning from my previous mistake, I dont have to purchase the extra DLC seperately.
The packaging is rather small but has pretty pictures

Over the past few weeks I've had several discussions with Chung about whether the chest was going to be a cheapo plastic POS but I was glad it wasnt. its still plastic but it looks and feels wonderful...for a box
Designed to look like a marble chest with the Assassin's seal all over it
Look at the engravings. nuff said
The flip side of the cover has a lining of felt fabric and so does the interior of the box
Lifting out the partition with the tab reveals the goodies. I think this was suppose to be a replica of Altair's Codex Journal (hence the name)
The pages have a rough texture to them and are very crisp
The Codex it self is under 20pages or so but at the end there are a couple of full color gloss pages of artwork

Next we have a packet of cards which I prolly wont bother to open
Also includes a map of Rome

On the reverse is a poster
I think I prefer the map
The box is pretty deep so tons of stuff inside. Here we have the soundtrack and a Dvd containing Assassin's Creed linage which is a couple of short films

out of all the artwork cards it contained I didn't get this one. FML

Can't wait to get into it and just so happens to be holidays for me so don't be alarmed when I try to stab you or climb buildings cos I'll prolly fail horribly

how can you have all the cards except for the one with the sexy girl???
EB staff might have taken it out before it was sold to you.....or it could just be your super unlucky day.
