hasegawa comes to the often bland and boring world of aeromodelling(sorry but its true all those wargeeks ever do is discuss their preshade techniques zzZZzzZz) with an interesting take on classics. ~
So what does $15 buy you ?
2 runners and a canopy ! ~ all moulded in a delightfully godawful grey. Seriously. When i said that airplane modelers are boring its bcause they only paint shades if grey.
cut out and stickied for spray prepping
Tamiya says this is champagne gold. I say that Japanese champagne is probably high in mercury.
after the undercoat of champagne gold, i applied a layer of Tamiya aluminium or it may have been light metallic grey. I forget. Ask sum he can colour match it to his 6 shades of Tamiya metallic grey(2 more and ur ready for the colourful world of aircraft modelling)
It looks quite good (: but its raining now ):
